Flannigan is a large and handsome classic orange and white Tabby. He is as sweet as they come very laid back, calm, and cuddly. LOVES to play with the enthusiasm of a kitten - any toy is a good toy and he will play as long as his playmate can keep up with him. He purrs before he is touched and climbs with joy into laps. Flannigan was born around February 14, xxxx. Flannigan is FIV positive and has a thyroid condition that is easily managed with medication added to his food twice a day. Flannigans appetite is great and his immunity is strong. He is currently doing very well and his blood panels show that he is maintaining his health. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is a manageable disease that is frequently misunderstood; many FIV positive cats live long happy, healthy lives with proper care. For cats like Flannigan with no other symptoms and otherwise generally good health, management of FIV involves a proper diet and prompt, aggressive treatment of infections and other conditions as they crop up throughout life. Your veterinarian will work with you to establish a plan to keep Flannigan healthy. Flannigan will need to be an inside only cat and flea control is important, as fleas transmit a number of other parasites and flea bites themselves can become infected, which would be a cause for concern. Flannigan has been in a foster home for TLC (which he gives as good as he gets) since February xxxx. He is a well-mannered gentleman and will transition to a permanent home with grace.
