Gemma is a beautiful long-haired silver Tabby with green eyes. We had some space and asked Chattanooga's Humane Educational Society to send some cats who had been there the longest so we can help them find homes. Gemma is one that they sent. She was born March 10, xxxx. Gemma is full of cattitude. She pretends to be confident to hide her anxiety when her environment changes. Those big eyes give away what she is feeling. Moving from one shelter to another has been stressful for her and she would like a stable, happy home where she will never have to question if she is wanted. Gemma is calm but has a playful side that comes out occasionally. She bonds easily to male cats and lets them groom her and treat her like a princess. We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m. The adoption fee is $40 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
