We took in 5 baby kittens from East Ridge Animal Shelter that needed either a nursing mom or to be bottle fed because they were only 4 weeks old. Fanta was already in a foster home nursing her own litter at the time and willingly accepted 5 more to her family. We call these babies the "wood" litter and they are named Hickory, Mahogany, Aspen, Cypress, and Maple. They were born 5/24/14 and have spent time in a foster home with other cats and dogs. Hickory is the only boy in the litter. He purred the whole time we took his picture and enjoyed playing with the ball. He is frisky & fun! We're open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 5 p.m. The adoption fee is $50 which includes a free veterinary exam within 2 weeks of adoption at local participating vets, up to date vaccinations, test for FELV/FIV, dewormer, flea preventative, microchip, & spay or neuter.
