Scrappy is a Wirehaired Dachshund with dapple markings. He was surrendered to Pet Placement Center after he scratched the new baby in his household. His family had him from the time he was a puppy. He was born July xxxx and needs a home with someone that will allow him to be a companion. His family told us he knows the commands sit, down and stay. He will dig under a fence if he is left unattended and becomes bored. Scrappy weighs 20 pounds. Dachshunds are fantastic snugglers and are known for their tendency to burrow under blankets. Because they are intelligent dogs and enjoy being with people, they have a tendency to bond deeply with those they trust. Scrappys world has changed drastically and he is looking for someone to be his family. Like all dogs, he wants a home with someone who will make him the center of his or her world.
